The Dorilli winery was born from Planeta's desire to create a place dedicated to hospitality, by renovating and enhancing an ancient cellar and the adjacent farmhouse dating back to the early twentieth century. The vineyards of Nero d'Avola and Frappato are cultivated in the vineyard surrounding the winery, the base of the blend of the two wines produced: Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG and Dorilli. Cerasuolo di Vittoria is since 2006 the only denomination of controlled and guaranteed origin of Sicily

Cerasuolo di Vittoria Classico Dorilli represents for us the quintessence of this ancient and noble wine. It comes from a careful selection of the vineyards that surround the beautiful and unique Dorilli estate, named after the nearby Dirillo river, the landing of the valiant Aeneas. A fine and elegant expression, the result of the union of the noble Nero d'Avola with the Frappato di Vittoria , the Hyblean grape par excellence, slightly marked by the aging in wood. A limited production for those who love small Italian denominations, history and testimony of our land.
